Häufige Fehler & Lösungen

OCI guidance calls for a plain light-color background and notes not white in the FAQ. Follow OCI-specific instructions when applying for OCI.

Remove spectacles for the India e-Visa photo upload.
Photo not square
Export the visa/OCI image with equal height and width before uploading.
Schritt-für-Schritt Ablauf
1
Select visa, e-Visa, passport, or OCI
India application routes have different photo dimensions and file size limits, so start with the exact route.
2
Prepare the square upload
For India visa and OCI online uploads, keep the face centered, background plain, and the final JPEG inside the portal size limit.
3
Check signature rules separately
OCI workflows often upload photo and signature images together. Do not assume the signature limit is the same as the photograph limit.
